Mission Statement

We are a work in progress towards perfection producing Kingdom Citizens through Evangelism, Discipleship, Worship, Fellowship and Service.

Statement of Faith 

The following is a summary of the faith tenets that direct, guide, support and sustain the mission, Vision and work of Union Grove Baptist Church.

We affirm that God is the Father almighty that he is Maker of heaven and earth as the Scriptures have said.

We affirm the following truths that are taught in the Scriptures:

1) THE WORD OF GOD is fully inspired and without error, having supreme authority in all matters of faith and life.

2) THE HOLY TRINITY God the father who ordains, God the son who creates, and God the Holy Spirit sustains.

3) THE FALL OF HUMANITY We believe that humanity fell from its created state through an act of disobedience, bringing it into a condition of sin.

The state of innocence was lost and placed humanity under the judgment of God and made subject to the miseries of life, the certainty of death, and the threat of permanent separation from God.

4) SALVATION is for all those who call on the Lord Jesus Christ for forgiveness, believe in His resurrection, and receive Him as their Savior is granted salvation.

5) THE WORLD TO COME the Lord Jesus Christ will come again to earth, personally and visibly, to establish His Kingdom and fulfill God's eternal Plan for creation.

6) THE CHURCH is a living Spiritual body of which Christ is Head and all regenerated persons are members.

7) ORDINANCE the lord Jesus Christ has instituted two ordinances for obedient observance by the local Church: Baptism and the Lord's Supper until His return.
