Pastor Frederick Crawford

Reverend Frederick Crawford was born in The Bronx, NY the eldest child to Rev. Dr. Fletcher C.and Lady Arnetta Crawford; who retired June 25, 2006 after fifty years of pastoring Union Grove Baptist Church Bronx, NY. He is the grandson of the late Rev. Jeremiah and Dovetta Crawford the founders of Union Grove Baptist Church.

Reverend Crawford was called at the early age of sixteen (16) to preach God's word. He has always been involved in God's work from singing within the Crawford Chorus and Inspirational Choir II, to teaching Youth Sunday School and serving both on the Junior and Intermediate Usher Boards all at Union Grove.

Reverend Crawford attended grade school within the New York Public School System. Upon graduating he attended Pinebrook Junior College, Coopersburg,PA and graduated from Eastern Mennonite College and Seminary in Harrisonburg, VA with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and minored in Religious Studies. He also attended Alliance Theological Seminary. He taught at the New York Baptist Educational Center, The New York leadership School and The Empire Missionary Baptist Congress Youth Department.

While attending college in Harrisonburg, Rev Crawford served as assistant to Pastor Rev. Calvin Baltimore of First Baptist Church, Harrisonburg Va. He was involved in Evangelism, Prison, Nursing and Group Homes Ministries while there.

Reverend Frederick Crawford was ordained under the leadership of Rev. Fletcher C. Crawford in August 1988 at that year's Homecoming Service; he became an Associate Minister of Union Grove Baptist Church.

Reverend Crawford began serves at First Calvary Baptist Church, Harlem NY in October 1988 and was installed as Pastor on April 30, 1989 where he is still serving.

Reverend Crawford is a revivalist and has ministered within the United States and Barbados. He is a member of the United Chaplin's International World Organization, also the First Vice President of the Baptist Ministers Evening Conference of Bronx, NY and Vicinity. He is also member of the Baptist Ministers Conference of Greater New York and Vicinity and The Baptist Ministers Evening Conference of Greater New York and Vicinity.

Reverend Frederick Crawford is married to Lady Antoinette Crawford and has four children;Lamont, Shapri, Hezekiah, and Chloe.
