King David is king of Israel, he loved Mephibosheth’s father and made a covenant with his father. King David is an honorable man, humble man, man of love, man of his word, man after God’s heart, he desire to seek and bless one who has been his enemy, wants to show kindness.

King David seek, called, spoke and saved Mephiboshet the shameful thing the cripple, and spared his life not only spared his life but restore him back into the high place at the King’s table and took him out of Lodebar the place of no pasture.

King David sought him (Mephiboshet), sent for him, spoke to him and spared him in the natural as Christ does in the Spiritual Christ seeks us, he calls for us, he speaks to us and he saves us thru his Word.

King David represents a type of Spiritual Redeemer (Type of Christ) The Lamb of God whose blood takes away all sins. God’s Grace

Mephibosheth name represent a type of Spiritual man which is a Sinner. With disobediences came the fall of man, and enmity against God. Spiritually Separation (Dead) 1 Samuel 15: 22-23

If a man King David would seek, call, speak to and save Mephiboshet, someone that is disgraced, doomed, destitute, and an enemy whom cannot save himself, did all of this because of a covenant (A promise out of Love).
